Colors of nature

I've been away for a while. Traveling. Still working my way through thousands of new photos.
These are a few years old. I like to call them "colors of nature".

Streets and traffic in Kamnik

With the topic of this year's exhibition in mind (Traffic and transport) a few members of Kamnik photo club set off to take pictures a couple of times in late June and early July. What is there to take photos of? Well, lots of things. Roads, streets, all kinds of vehicles, pedestrians, and there's a number of techniques you can employ, too.

Freakish sky

Last night the sky turned into an amazing combination of orange, pink and red. The light was eerie. The colors were really that intense. And no, I didn't have time to get out into the fields, I just snapped a few photos from my window before the show was over. :)

Predaselj

The Kamniška Bistrica valley is right under my nose, yet there are many places I haven't visited yet. For example, the river cut a gorge named Predaselj, up to 30 meters deep, which is a wonderful sight, but I don't think I ever climbed down the steep slope to the small area where the river appears from a rocky gorge only to disappear again after some ten or twenty meters.

Last snow in March

Yeah, I know, I'm way behind with my piccies. :) There's hundreds of them sitting on my hard disk, waiting patiently for me to post-process them. Not to worry, I'll get there ... eventually.
For now here are a few photos I took in late March, just after a day or two of heavy snowfall. The snow melted in the valley, but mountains were white once more, for the last time this winter I think. I didn't have to go far for these - just to my usual shooting ground, Mengeš fields.
